5 Easy Steps to Apply Eye shadow

Eye shadow is a colored cosmetic that is applied to the eyelids. It is regularly used to make wearer’s eyes emerge or look progressively alluring. Eye shadow can come in various hues. It is usually produced by powder and mica, yet can likewise be found in pencil, cream, fluid and mousse form.

 

1.Begin with good cosmetics brushes.

When applying an eye shadow, make sure you apply with the brush not with your finger. Makeup or cosmetics brush will help you have a good eye makeup. It is tool to create masterpiece. Synthetic makeup brush is most preferable and affordable.

2.Use a base eye shadow.

Use your favorite base eye shadow on your lid. While applying the base shade, use brush. Base shade can depend on the look you’re going for. For the Smokey eyes, you can bring color to the brow bone.

3.Concentrate dark color in the eye line.  

Apply dark color in the eye crease because it captivates the light. Ii adds dimension in the right spot. While applying the shades, keep your eyes open and mark where you want to apply dark color so that it can be visible.

4.Edge your lash line with darker color.

If you are not comfortable using eyeliner, use super dark eye shadow to get an impressive look. Apply the dark color on the edge of your upper eyelid where your eyelashes start.

5.Highlight with a sparkling eye shadow.

Finish your eye makeup with adding a glittering eye shades with the brush.  

 

 

Know Your Skin

Understanding your skin type will give you a better idea of  how to treat those skin diseases. Knowing your skin will clear out your skin and treat acne breakouts. Each skin type has a different characteristics and they need a special treatment and special attention.

1. Dry skin

To see if your skin is dry or not, firstly wash your face and wait for an hour. If you find your skin itchy and tight, your skin is dry. You experience a tightness in your skin if you have a dry skin . Those with dry skin have invisible pores and they suffer from wrinkles and irritation to the skin.  It is very important to use moisturizer for dry skin. Dry skin people suffer from slight allergic reaction and cream benefit more than the lotion as it contain oil.

2. Oily skin

If your skin is shiny and greasy after washing your face, you are having an oily skin.  The pores appear larger leading to whitehead, pimples and acne. What you need to avoid if you have a oily skin is oil-based cleanser and  moisturizer which contain oil. Washing your face twice a day will help you to treat your skin well. To make your skin soft and better, don’t pop or pick pimples as they take time to heal.

3. Sensitive­ skin

Your face get red, irritated and itchy if you have a sensitive skin. Those with sensitive skin react to a new product, heat and get razor bumps when you shave. They get sunburn easily. Avoiding direct sunlight, stay hydrated , washing your face gently and using appropriate moisturizer will help the people with sensitive sin.

 

 

 

Show Case of Art in RTC Fair

Royal Thimphu College celebrated the 10th anniversary on October 31st with various activity to mark the day.  Student made the event exciting by bring different activities on the campus. The most liked and interesting event was the face paint.

Hey, does the face just looks excellent with standard development, 2 ears, 2 eyes, 1 nose and 1 mouth? Sounds exhausting! What about applying a design to your face? It really does express your expression. Face painting is commonly found in occasion and yes! RTC fair really brought that event. When I was going around the campus, I found many people with face paint and I was like WOW! It really look good.  There was different type of design on face painting. Some did hallow-en design , batman sign and many other different design of face painting on that day. It really made the event exciting. The face painting stall were filled with people and the people were happy with the colors.

 

Kourtney Kardashian addresses congress about cosmetic reforms

Kourtney Kardashian met with the Congress on Capital Hill in Washington DC during the briefing with the Environmental Working Group(EWG). This came after President Ken Cook tried to reform the laws that regulate ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products in the United States.

She wore a black blazer and straight leg trouser with white crop top while speaking to the Congress. Kardashian is with the non-profit organization and it launched a new initiative — #BeautyMadeBetter.
Kardashian talked about her own personal experience of becoming a mother and how it inspired her to start focusing on the ingredient found in her household product and cosmetics. She started learning about the food she was feeding to her son and also she stated that as a mother she has to take so much interest in products.
She stated that she learned about baby products being unhealthy from her mom’s friend.  She also talked about her sister Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic company. She added,”My sisters’ products have been checked by EWG and they scored well”.

Kardashian always supports healthy, natural and organic living. The EWG and Kardashian are urging Americans to sign the petition to support the Personal Care Products Safety Act.
